I read your column on the Vandy baseball tournament with great interest. But was especially curious about your mention of your coach Sam Hirt. Is he the same man who served for many years as the Vanderbilt recreation director? He and I served on the same national board for many years. He is one of the three best men that I have known in my life, including my own dad.
