Two campaign volunteers, one 16 years old and another just 15, made your columnist, who’s a 76-year-old party switcher, proud to be an Iowan and an American.
It’s wonderful that he’s getting involved in politics and doing this at a young age. However, it is hardly a reason to keep the Iowa caucuses as they exist. They are basically outdated and discriminate against 2 income urban families with young kids. Who’s going to rush home from daycare and leave again if they can even find a babysitter on a school night? Long past time for a primary.
Lucky for that kid he will never need an OBGYN because there are hardly any in Iowa these days. Why would they hang out here when they are so disrespected?

BL I have neither Fox nor MSNBC on my television. Thanks for the humor on a cold day. Be well.
Good for Alexander. Of course his family's news source is Fox Entertainment.
And yours is MSNBC?
BL, whoever you are, I do not have FOX, CNN or MSNBC on my TV
Not worth the money nor time. Thanks for your comment. Be well
