Put a half a million dollars in the ground in the spring and expect to get it back in the fall--greatest act of faith I know.

Thanks Chuck for writing a "farm update" article! Thanks also to our good friend Doug for sharing! Really a good, timely, and informative story. We live just 15 miles West of Lawton's and the corn crop looks decent but beans very variable. We've had 1/3 to 1/2 of the rain Doug's had so far. The one thing that hasn't changed over time is you have to have water (rain) to reach a crop's potential or to even get it to grow. Every year it's a roll of the dice but a great life just the same! Thanks again fellas for the story.

Perfect Iowa; Perfect corn growing day; and best little community in the state ..... Holding our breath on the Fourth ..... everything is Super around Cooper, especially the neighbors. Thanks Chuck, for the annual knee-high update!
