When I worked for the Omaha Education Association my boss and I made sure to go to Gorats on Thursdays (if I remember the day correctly) because that was the day Warren ate at his favorite restaurant (which I think he bought). He would occasionally stop and say hello and visit a bit. He's very down to earth. I was also the staff person assigned to the Minority Affairs Committee for the OEA so I got the chance to meet Ernie Chambers. Ernie was everything you think he would be and more. Very bright and charismatic.
