I believe the term "electronic vehicles" should be "electric vehicles." From the web: "Electrical refers to the broad field involving electricity, its uses, and applications in general. Electronics is a subset of electrical, dealing specifically with circuits, devices, and systems that manage the flow of electrons."

Also, climate change increasingly impacts Iowa via floods and heat, the carbon-intensive practice of ethanol production is a poor way to fuel vehicles. Perhaps a column on the economics of ethanol?
