My colleague Macey Shofroth wrote that Hawkeye women's basketball makes her think about art. I agree. Their games have led me to think about architecture, too.
Thanks for the shoutout, Chuck! I love what my column inspired. I was a Hawkeye student from 2015-2019 and remember feeling the same type of awe about these buildings. I would take a blanket down by the river behind the dorms my freshman year and read and enjoy looking at the stunning art buildings, including Hancher.

The tour provides a backstage view and historical information. The state of the art performance venue is a welcoming place.
